Follow theses instructions to turn the Google Gmail App to full screen on your N97.

First download and install Gmail Here.

Go to Settings > Application Manager > Installed Applications > Select Gmail > Options > Suite Settings > change “onscreen keyboard” to OFF. That’s all your Gmail should be full screen now.

I’ve been getting a lot of low phone memory warning on my N97 due to very limited space on the C: drive. This forces me to delete Nokia Messaging as it will always run out of memory from downloading new emails; not only that, I can’t send out emails with attachments.
